Six years strong.....
This month marks six years in business for Signature Properties Mudgee – and wow, what a roller coaster of a year with the Coronavirus hitting our shores.
Looking back on the past year and thinking how lucky our agency has been to keep our doors open, and how blessed Mudgee has been with the influx of people, who have discovered our best kept secret with the massive exodus of city people wanting their own piece of Mudgee to call their own. On weekends our streets are bustling with life and the wineries and café scene is buzzing.
Before starting Signature Properties Mudgee, I never thought I would actually be where we are today. We opened our doors without any properties, to where we stand now, and I am grateful for every client who has walked through our door and entrusted us with their investment. They say the best business is through word of mouth, and I can honestly say this has driven the majority of our growth. What I know now that I didn’t know prior to opening our doors was, being a business owner is a tough gig and no books or audio books can prepare you for the long hours which a business demands. You really do put in a huge effort and sacrifice a massive amount but the rewards eventually start coming. With the huge efforts we have been able to employ a full-time member to join our team – Meagan Gardner – who brings a wealth of knowledge with property management and also new fresh ideas. I am thankful everyday Meagan has come into our team as the long hours, which I endured, have made me see there is a light at the end of the tunnel after all the hard work. We have also been able to open our new office space at 1/52 Lewis Street, Mudgee of which I am extremely proud. I am so thankful to the owners of the building who have given us the opportunity to have this office space. I truly love the warmth of the space and it allows us to meet our clients privately in our office. We have also introduced our new round signboards, these are visually appealing to the eye, sleek, simply & classy and thank Mountain Signs his design and productions skills.
When starting Signature Properties Mudgee Derek & I always said we are building something for the future, a service and business that is honest, truthful and most of all real. So where to next for Signature Properties Mudgee……
